To: GL Luck |
Yardmaster/Trainmaster | October 4, 1999 |
Mr. Luck, on September 28, 1999 Larry Grant was asked to come upstairs to speak with the trainmaster. When Mr. Grant got upstairs Acting Trainmaster Dennis Trotter informed Mr. Grant he was working to slow. Then the other acting Trainmaster Scott Marshall agreed with Mr. Trotter.
Mr. Luck I was under the impression when Yardmasters are performing Trainmaster duties they were not to make any operating decisions. If I am wrong in my assumption then I would have to ask what operating rules have been relaxed to allow the job to become more important than safety.
Mr. Grant's work and safety history speaks for itself.
This is to put you on notice that this committee will not tolerate our members being bullied to work in a hurried unsafe manner.
