BNSF UTU General Chairmen:

  I am writing on behalf of Milton Siegele to advise you that LR / TY&E Compensation Systems has implemented the 2002 UTU National Agreement, Article VI - Service Scale, provisions effective July 1, 2004, for UTU employees with UTU seniority dates on or before June 30, 2004.

  For employees with a UTU seniority date on or after July 1, 2004, the service scale provisions in effect on BNSF on June 30, 2004 will apply. 

  Attached is a matrix that shows the changes in rates for UTU employees with UTU seniority dates on or before June 30, 2004.   Employees with seniority on or after July 1, 2004 will have service scale as indicated in "Before 7-1-04" column on the matrix.
